This innovative and contemporary staircase had many challenging aspects to contend with during both construction and installation. To make this complex design work, we were in constant communication with the architect throughout the design and fabrication process to ensure that the end result delivered the necessary structural strength, while retaining the desired architectural look.
The equally complex installation process took approximately 2 weeks and involved removing 2nd floor hand rail panels and using a crane to lift components into the building for reassembly and site welding. The end result, is a stunning staircase that uses steel stays to give the staircase the appearance of being suspended from the ceiling.
